Nordic healthcare companies to enter U.S. market via the Triad

FCA Health Innovations is helping bring twelve promising Nordic healthcare growth-stage companies to the U.S. through the Nordic AMPlify program, as featured in the Triad Business Journal.

“Part of our mission is to grow the healthcare ecosystem in the Triad and Western North Carolina,” said Tom Hearn, Partner at FCA Health Innovations, formerly Diōko Ventures. The fund typically invests between $1 million and $3 million in fast-growing companies from the Seed to Series A stages that are focused on improving patient care, enhancing the provider experience, reducing healthcare costs, and increasing system efficiency.

“We were extremely impressed with the quality of companies from the Nordics who want to explore Winston-Salem as their U.S. base of operations,” Hearn added. “The opportunity to bring 25 to 30 high-quality healthcare companies to the area every year is extremely exciting and can create significant, long-term opportunities for the region.”
